Londonderry Township is seeking interested individuals to serve on our Emergency Management Team.
What is Emergency Management? Emergency management is the organized effort to reduce the impact of disasters and enhance community resilience through planning, preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery.
Who can be a team member?
Some members often have backgrounds in fire, EMS, or law enforcement, but we encourage any resident to volunteer if you are willing to serve the community in a support role.

Why should I volunteer?
Volunteering in emergency management offers life‑saving impact, personal growth, and community connection — before, during, and after disasters.

With the reopening of Crane Clean Energy Center (Three Mile Island) the emergency management team will be required to have semi-annual drills so that we can be prepared if the need arises. However, we do live in Pennsylvania, and we have natural emergences more often where residents may need assistance.
If you are willing to be a part of the team, please reach out to the Township by calling 717-944-1803. The staff at the township will get your contact information and I will reach out to you to set up a day and time to meet and discuss.
Thank you for considering to be part of the team and I hope to hear from you soon.
