A Message from Energy Transfer

Energy Transfer (Sunoco Pipeline) operations personnel will be converting the product transported in our 8” pipeline that traverses Dauphin County from natural gas liquids to refined petroleum products as early as Thursday, January 6, 2022. During this time, neighbors may notice increased activity along the right-of-way. Additionally, neighbors may notice increased operations activity and occasional noise at our Middletown Pump Station during daylight and evening hours for approximately 4 days during the change in service evolution.  Please keep in mind, Energy Transfer operates more than one pipeline in the area and this change in service only applies to our 8” pipeline system formerly known as Mariner East 1 or ME1.  Written notification was made to neighbors, emergency responders and public officials in early December.
