Third Party Services

Londonderry Township uses Third-Party Agencies certified by the PA Dept of Labor and Industry under the PA Uniform Construction Code to review plans for proposed projects and conduct inspects

The Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors has adopted by Resolution a Fee Schedule for various permits and other fees associatted with the various permits that Township may issue.

Floodplain Managment & Development Permitting

Londonderry Township has multiple waterways throughout the Township, most notably the Susquehanna River, Swatara Creek, and Conewago Creek.

Stromwater Managment & Permitting

Londonderry Township first adopted a Stormwater Management Ordinance in 2010. As regulations at the State and Federal level have changed, so to have the requirements for permitting in Londonderry Township

On-Lot Sewage Dispoal

Londonderry Township has many areas that are still serviced by well water and On-Lot Sewage Disposal Systems. These are regulated by the PA Dept of Environmental Protection and the PA Sewage Facilities Act which requires local municipalities to provide for permitting of these systems.

Londonderry Township partners with a Third-Party Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO) for the administration and enforcement of these permits
