RE: Swatara Creek Road Improvements

Dear Resident,

This construction notice is being issued to make you aware of construction activity and road closures for the project listed above.

This project includes improvements along Swatara Creek Road, between Iron Mine Road and Route 283. Improvements will include roadway rehabilitation, full depth restoration, milling and overlay . CMS anticipates that work will begin March 31, 2025 and continue until April 25, 2025.

To facilitate the construction of these improvements. Swatara Creek Road will be closed to traffic between Iron Mine Road and Route 283 Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Residents and local businesses will be allowed access to their homes with delays possible.

We regret any temporary inconvenience that you may experience during the construction. Please be aware of any temporary parking restrictions, road/sidewalk closures, or signs that may be posted.

The safety of residents, motorists, pedestrians and workers will be a priority during the construction. During construction, please be aware of any safety signage, barriers, equipment and workers so that we can maintain a safe and secure construction zone.
